Dear Forest Meadow Junior High Charger Partner Supporter,

BIG CHANGES ARE HAPPENING AT FMJH!

Everyone is full of anticipation for an EXCITING, UNFORGETTABLE and IMPACTFUL school year as we complete our final year as Forest Meadow JH and transition to Forest Meadow Middle School, which will officially open for the 2024-2025 school year! With the addition of 6th grade comes the need for more staff training, extra-curricular opportunities for students, and bigger and better PTA funded opportunities and requests.  Forest Meadow needs your help to ensure we continue to meet the education needs of all our students!

Why is the Charger Partners Fundraising Campaign so important in 2023?
The FMJH PTA historically operates from funds raised by Market in the Meadow. Sadly, due to the pandemic and construction constraints, we’ve not been able to host that event since 2019, causing a significant deficit in our PTA budget. To help alleviate this deficit, the Charger Partners Campaign is now a full-on check writing campaign! We NEED your help to exceed our 2022 effort of $55,000 and reach our goal of $75,000 in 2023!

What does your donation DO?
Financial support from the FMJH PTA plays a critical role in the programs and initiatives that enable a diverse population of approximately 800 young adults from our Lake Highlands community to strive for excellence academically, socially and personally.

Student Council
National Junior Honor Society
Athletics
Foreign Language Programs
Fine Arts
Instructional Coaching
TOPS
Community Outreach
Peer Mediators
   

Community Outreach is a new FMJH program which engages with the local community to provide essential supplies, clothing, Thanksgiving dinners, and Angel Tree to students in need. The staff at FMJH relies heavily on the contributions and support of our PTA. The generosity of parents and the community help us to provide meaningful experiences and opportunities for our students.
